These condenser tubes are shining like a gun barrel after 15 months of Care-Free water treatment. To give an indication of tube cleanliness, a torch light is easily seen through the four metres of condenser tubing. No chemical treatment was used and no scale or pitting was evident. All that was required was a soft brush clean which was more of a formality than a necessity.

The following summary findings were taken from a report by the Benalla Regional Office of the Victorian Health Department after a two year study of the Care-Free Water Conditioner.

This time the difference is in the Cooling Towers of the Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex

Two 125-150MkII Care-Free Water Conditioners were installed in the re-circulation line of the cooling towers. Plus a smaller Care-Free unit was fitted before the water softening plant.

Since installation, there has been considerable reduction in the water usage as the cooling towers no longer dump as much water. What’s more, no bags of salt have been added to the water softening plant and there is no evidence of hard scale in the entire plumbing system.

At the Casa Maya Hotel, Mexico, a Care-Free Conditioner was fitted to the main water supply.

This demonstration shows how easy calcification is removed from a saucepan, after the Care-Free treated water was boiled dry. Because Care-Free changes the form of Calcium Carbonate (CACo3) from Calcite (hard) to Aragonite (soft).
